In response of USA sanctions the Russian legislators have proposed to exhaust rights in trademarks of USA companies and other companies from countries which uphold or endorsed the sanctions against Russia. The revised draft law does not provide such measure.
It seems the rights in trademarks of many foreign companies in Russia will retain their protection under Russian law. But new redaction of draft law provides the Russian president with authority to introduce any retaliatory measure as response to sanctions. Such measures potentially can include exhaustion of trademarks.
